The process of cutting requests a permanentely material feeding. The rotary technology can achieve speeds up to 1,000 m/min. The production is continuously and up to 5 times quicker than the conventional punching.

Shorter set-up times
Baust offers punching units as changing cassettes. If you like to change the hole pattern during the production process, you have to stop the machine, change the cassette and some minutes later the production can be continued.
Small space requirement
Do you have a conventional punching machine in your production? Then you know the expensive pits for the loops. Using Baust rotary punching technology, these loops are not necessary. The material will be feeded directly from the coil to the rotary punching machine. Smaller space and less machinery are required.

Smaller energy requirement
The cutting process of a rotary punching machine is based on the scissors-cutting system and need only a relatively small force. A conventional press needs 40-60 kW while punching sheet metal up to a thickness of 3 mm. The rotary technique needs only 10-15 kW drive power, that means same capacity, but 30% less energy.
Less emission
With Baust equipment, you can work without noise isulating cabinet. The rotative scissor cut is very soft while penetrating the material and has only a small noise emission. The requirements on the foundation of the machine concerning emission and vibration are considerably lower. An additional advantage is the more favourable energy balance of the rotary punching process.
